SHRAM is Back in the Studio Saddle
SHRAM has begun the recording process for thier next CD for 2008. Recording began this week. The title of the new record is forthcoming. We will update you with more details as the record begins to take shape!

SHRAM Loves Lincoln Nebraska
After a very successful two month "Locobazooka Tour 2008" run, SHRAM was asked back to perform in Lincoln, Nebraska. "The Blaze" 104.1 interviewed Brian while in Lincoln on the Loco tour and they really dig the SHRAM vibe & music. So much so that Sparky, program director of The Blaze asked SHRAM to perform at the big Star City Motor Sports event which was held May 3rd. The show was an awesome success and Shram made a ton of new friends! Shram will be returning to Lincoln to play the brand new rock club/venue there called "The Rock" - one awesome club!! Thanks to Sparky and all at 104.1 for all the interviews, shout outs and spins!

DVD to feature Jason Hartless with SHRAM
SHRAM drummer Jason Hartless is now in the process of filming an instructional DVD for the "Drum Fun" series. The DVD will feature Jason providing tips and lessons, and will also include an interview & a live performance with SHRAM at "The Warehouse" in Clarksville, Tennesee while the band was on the Locobazooka tour in winter of 2008. Look for a release in time for the 2008 holiday season! The DVD will be available at Guitar Center, Sam Ash and of course online.

Brian's 2008 Television Debut!
Back in summer of 2007, Brian Schram was invited to join anglers Pete Maina and Lee Tauchen on an episode of Versus Television's "The Next Bite." The episode, entitled "Mille Lacs Muskie Misfits", will air on Tuesday, February 19th at 1:00pm ET and on Friday, February 22nd at 5:00am and 8:30am ET.
The listing on www.thenextbite.com reads "Pete Maina and The Next Bite/Esox Angler Magazine's Lee Tauchen are joined by special guest Brian Schram of The Brian Schram band on a rockin' monster muskie adventure."
Be sure to tune in and in the mean time, check out the video interview with Brian after the filming of the show!
Also, all season long, you can hear Shram perform "The Next Bite" theme song at the beginning of every episode!

SHRAM IN THE GREAT WHITE NORTH!
Shram found themselves in Canada at Paradise Alley Studios located in Winnipeg, Manitoba to record new material for the upcoming European release. The new tracks were recorded and produced by world renowned producer Dale Penner.
Penner was the producer for international recording artist Nickelback and their album The State (Roadrunner) was certified gold in America, platinum in Canada and scored 2 Billboard Top Ten singles with Leader of Men and Breathe.
It was a great time and experience for Brian, Dave and Jason to work with Penner and will be returning to finish recording the new CD.

Shram Records TV Theme Song
Shram has recorded the new theme song for the TV sports show Water and Woods which is hosted by John Gillespie. Brian was a guest on the show, which aired on VS network on 6/16-17/2007.
After hearing the band's new Cd "Disturbing the Peace", he jumped at the chance to have Brian write and record his theme for this season. The Band also shot video on Lake St. Claire to be used for the show intro and leads into commercial breaks. The band is very excited at the response and looks to do similar ventures in the future.

The Forth-coming Brian Schram Band CD Recording Process is Finished!
"Disturbing the Peace", the new Shram release, has been completed. The process of pre-production began in early August at Pete Bankert's "Rock City Studio" in Ann Arbor. During this process, the band worked closely with producer Geo Teubl on arrangement ideas and rehearsals. Actual recording began on August 7th and continued right through September 1st. The band is glad to be done with recording and exited about mixing the record. More info about a release date and availability will be posted here as we approach the end of the mixing/mastering/duplicating process!
